How to Attract Direct Advertisers to Your Blog

Posted by Tee Jay on Monday 17 June 2013

As most bloggers do now, they start with CPC or CPM programs and then later on they move on to some other tracks. CPM program is an easy method to earn money via blogging, but only if you are good at it. Not being expert at anything you do won’t get you anything – be it CPM programs or something else. First learn and then get to work, but in CPM learning is not enough. You get to have targeted traffic to your blogs as well.

Most website owners use AdSense in their website/blog to earn money via CPC program and it actually is one of the best way to make money via blogging. But getting approved for AdSense is one tough job to get done – times after times of applying and you may finally end up being approved only if you fulfill all the criteria and you get lucky. It takes a long time and only the sufferers would know the pain. But what if you don’t want to take all these loads on yourself?

You can attract direct advertisers to your blog or website. This way you can earn your revenue without any third party advertisers and the deal is between you and the advertisers. But how do you do that? Remember, it’s not easy as well. Even it might be harder than the AdSense stuff! Doing 5 things to your blog/website might make it fit for the advertisers to like it.

Durability:

In business, durability stays in the first place. Unless you know how well your product or service is; the business will never shine. And in blogging, durable content is important. Durable content means, content that is free from plagiarism, preferably your own content, useful and unique in every way. And outlook matters, your blog interface should be attractive and friendly enough to keep your visitors on your blog more than the usual time. All these will take time, maybe a lot of time. But have patience, money doesn’t come for nothing.

Layout and Ad-Space:

Speaking of your blog layout, it has to have a good look. The visitors will visit your blog/website and the first thing they will notice even before the contents is the interface. If everything is in the place where they should be, and the ads in a proper place; then you can expect the visitors to like your website, the advertisers as well. And you have to work hard to make that happen.

Platform:

The base where you are hosting your blog is important. The advertisers won’t be interested putting their ads in some blogs that are hosted on slow servers and take forever to load when a visitor clicks for them. Instead, a faster server with everything up to date will easily attract the advertisers to your blog.

Plugins:

These little snippets of codes and apps all over your website can make the visitor experience better. Also, the advertisers will be able to put their own plugins on your website as well.

Media Kit:

This tool should be for the advertisers. This app or page should be a direct interaction platform between you and the advertisers. This will give the advertisers a good impression on your website, also a convenient way to form interaction between you.
